These terms are between you and MentalCraft, LLC, who runs tractionrank. Using the site means you accept them.

What the site shows

For a website you enter, the site shows its rank bucket in Google's public Chrome UX Report for each of the last twelve months: whether it was among the top 1,000, 5,000, 10,000, 50,000, 100,000, 500,000 or 1 million websites Chrome users visited. A bucket is a range, not a visit count. Addresses of one site are folded into its registrable domain with the Public Suffix List.

Where the data comes from

The ranks come from the Chrome UX Report(opens in a new tab) published by Google, read from its public BigQuery dataset each month. tractionrank is not affiliated with or endorsed by Google.

Use

Checking a site and reading the lists is free. You may use and quote what it shows, naming tractionrank and the Chrome UX Report as the source. Please don't query it automatically at a rate that burdens it.

The data files

You can buy two files for the single payment shown on the page (USD 49): the rank band of about 1.7 million websites for each of twelve months, and the last of those months' list of new websites. The page names the month the data runs to. Stripe takes the payment and nothing renews. The address of your order page is how you download the files, so keep it. The ranks come from Google's Chrome UX Report, licensed CC BY 4.0(opens in a new tab), with origins grouped by us into registrable domains: name the report as the source if you share the files. If a file is not what the page describes, write to us and we will refund you.

Limits

The data is provided as it is, may be incomplete or out of date, and is not advice. We are not liable for decisions made from it.
